Congratulation Mr. Foster's   YAM Winners.

YAM is Youth Art Month which is celebrated nationally during the month of March.  Each state is asked to have a competition for a flag design representative of their state and of the arts.  The flags are shown at the National Art Educators Association national convention and they are put on display in Washington D.C..  Gloria Garcia had the winning design for the high school competition and Annelise Kennedy won for the entire state.  The design Annelise created is now being made into a flag that will be sent to the national office, then New York and Washington.  Gloria will be given a generous amount of art supplies for her winning the state high school and Annelise as overall winner will receive everything Gloria gets, plus a trip to New York City for her, a parent and her art instructor, all expenses paid.
