Florence High School Upward Bound

Upward Bound program is sponsored by Northwest Shoals Community College.

This program is designed to encourage students to continue in college after high school graduation. Students must meet certain criteria and apply through guidance. Several students from each grade--11th and 12th grades--are selected. They have tutoring on the Florence High School campus one day a week, some weekend meetings, seminars, and field trips, and take summer classes at Northwest Shoals Community College while having the experience of living on campus during the summer classes.

Mrs. Linton is the on-site tutor here for the program. 

Tutoring will be in room 33 on Wednesdays at 3:05 p.m.
