Multicultural Club

The Multicultural Club is a group of students of varying backgrounds and viewpoints who meet on Wednesday afternoons to discuss issues of the world today and to promote understanding and tolerance. Discussion topics are chosen by multicultural club members and include different cultural and traditional histories, such as Hanukkah, Eid, and Kwanzaa. Current world and political events are discussed. Each member is an ambassador and presents interactive programs. Although the Multicultural Club involves in its discussions controversial topics, its members are encouraged to address the topics from an objective standpoint and to look at each issue from someone else’s viewpoint to further understanding of one another.

Club sponsor is Darlene Freemon
