Lyna Schofield represented FHS and Lauderdale County at the Alabama Cattlemen's Association State Beef Cook-Off in Montgomery.  Lyna took 1st place in the North Region of Alabama for Senior High (10th-12th grade).  An honor she won last year, as well!  Her recipe was a Vietnamese Beef Curry and was wonderful!    Lyna, along with Jacob St. John and Lindy Olive, will be competing at the FCCLA State Culinary STAR Events in Birmingham on February 13.  Be sure to wish them good luck!

Jac St. John has been accepted into the Culinary Program at Johnson and Wales, and has Ben awarded $26,000 in scholarships over the next four years.  Jac plans to attend the Johnson and Wales campus in Charlotte, North Carolina.  This is exciting news for the Culinary Program at FHS.
