Florence High School Facilities and Campus

Florence High School is located at 1201 Bradshaw Drive in Florence, Alabama.  On our campus we have approximately eighty classrooms, a computer laboratory with thirty computer stations, a media center that can accommodate up to thirty students at computer stations and, with our mobile computer lab, serve an additional thirty students.  Our auditorium is used, not only for school events, but for community activities such as dance recitals and community theatre as well.

Our new science wing houses the very latest in laboratory equipment for use by all our students enrolled in science courses.  Also housed in the science wing is an ACCESS lab that will accommodate distance learning.  Students will be able to take courses not offered on campus at FHS either through IVC (Interactive Video Conferencing) or by web based offerings.

Our two gymnasiums on campus are utilized by our physical education classes and by our JROTC department.  Florence High School has a state of the art career tech department on campus. Complete information on this department can be found by visiting the career tech page on our website.

Our athletic facilities on campus consist of baseball and softball fields, soccer fields, a football practice field, and a track.   All varsity basketball and football home games are played on the Freshman Center campus, in Coffee Gym and Tom Braly field, respectively.   The FFC is located at 648 N. Cherry Street in Florence.  Visit our athletics web page for more information on our programs.
